Community Housing

Our CLT will develop housing projects that are genuinely community – led.

The community will be consulted and involved in key decisions on what is provided, where and for whom .

We do not have to build homes ourselves.

Our initial aspiration is that any homes owned by Mendlesham CLT,  will remain in our ownership for perpetuity and will not be eligible for any right to buy schemes or similar.  

We aim to ensure proper stewardship and management of properties built, not withstanding ownership. 

We are interested in developing exception sites within Mendlesham Parish and are keen to hear from any local land owner with suitable land to develop such a site.
